Job Responsibilities:
· Hauling tankers of caprolactam and wash water, van trailers, and dry bulk tankers both within the plant and between local AdvanSix Plants
· Handling of Shipping Documents
· Maintaining accurate driving logs
· Performing pre-trip inspections
· Performing post-trip inspections
· Spotting loaded and empty trailers
· Driving designated routes as assigned
· This position works an 12-hour rotating shift
· Other work duties will be assigned as needed
Basic Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent required
· 5+ years verifiable tractor trailer (semi) over the road driving experience
· Must have a valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement
Additional Qualifications:
· No license suspensions, revocations, DUI, or drug violations or reckless operation violations preferred
· No more than one chargeable/preventable accident in the last 5 years preferred
· No more than 3 moving violations in the last 5 years preferred
· Ability to communicate effectively with all those involved in the delivery process preferred
· 1 Year tanker experience a plus
· Drive in a team setting preferred
· Basic computer skills a plus preferred
Physical Requirements:
· Required to work on uneven and sometimes slippery surfaces and in adverse weather conditions (cold, hot, humid, rain, snow, etc.)
· Ability to lift and move objects that weigh up to 50 lbs., and exert up to 75 pounds pull
· Ability to work at elevated heights – greater than 50 feet
