What you will be doing:

  • Lead security initiatives that bolster the process control network (PCN) and operational technologies by working collaboratively with the cyber security team and network peers

  • Monitor and mitigate risk, leveraging various tools to recognize potential intrusion attempts and compromises through reviews and analysis of relevant event detail and summary information

  • Analyze industry and cyber security trends, assess applicability, make recommendations, and drive execution of deployments, and improve systems where possible.

  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and support of PCN upgrades and the distributed control systems (DCS)

  • Ensure the integrity and protection of networks and systems by creating and maintaining a complete and accurate inventory of PCN assets and ensuring adherence to current patching and security policies and conducting access management audits

  • Develop and document technical controls, procedures, and policies associated with standards related to the process control network

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field, e.g., Computer Science / Information Systems, Computer or Chemical Engineering, or field experience

  • Minimum of five years hands-on experience with network technologies, configuring, implementing, and supporting network technologies with a focus on security

  • Knowledge of networking concepts such as subnetting, routing, VLANs, wireless, Firewalls/ACLs, and common protocols; Network qualification such as CCNA, CCNP desirable

  • Experience with or willing to develop skills related to cybersecurity controls and technologies, especially those specific tofirewalls, identity and access management, and system hardening

  • Capable of partnering across the organization to define and breakdown opportunities, identify logical solutions, and ability to anticipate and mitigate issues

  • Results oriented individual capable of handling projects individually and able to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment

  • Strong analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills including active listening

  • Experience with storage arrays, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI; knowledge of Microsoft Windows Services

  • Familiarity with VMware vSphere or other virtualization solutions

  • Adaptive to change

  • Positive outlook; a belief that the future can be better than the present and that you can influence your future

  • Knowledge of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security desired

  • Some travel is required (10%); available for rotating on-call duty
