Position Responsibilities:
- Manage AdvanSix Procurement related analysis and reporting.
- Assist in developing strategic initiative of Procurement function.
- Providing support, financial analysis and reporting for Direct and Indirect spend and Freight & Distribution including developing and implementing financial trend reports to identify performance issues within spend categories and risks or opportunities in current financial plan/estimate.
- Provide financial insight on and highlight key performance metrics with particular emphasis on identifying key variances and trends to understand function performance and drive actions.
- Support the reporting and forecasting of core FP&A processes including Estimate/Forecast, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Term Plan of Record.
- Individual will work closely with VP of Procurement and senior leaders of the business as part of day to day activities
- Co-ordinate with Procurement, Plant and Logistics teams to consolidate productivity projects including variance analysis versus plan at segment and companywide level and support functional presentations as required.
- Support the commercial and supply chain teams to develop logistics cost forecasts to help secure capacity and communicate forecasts to mode managers and business leaders.
- Support Leadership on ad hoc analysis and special projects.
Qualifications – Required:
- Finance or Accounting degree and related experience supporting Procurement and or Supply Chain
Qualifications – Preferred:
- Working knowledge of SAP, BPC, and Power BI
- Have partnered with businesses leadership maintaining budgets and financial targets
- Experience with financial forecasting and planning cycles
- Integrative Thinker with the ability to link past experiences with today’s challenges
- Teamwork oriented and able to work cross-functionally with business partners
- Comfortable working within tight deadlines, paying attention to details and accuracy of reported results
- Proven Leadership potential with strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Self-directed and able to handle multiple tasks with ambiguous workload
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
