Position Summary:

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for performing all administrative services in support of the Human Resources department and performing regular and daily activities for the assigned site. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Run and complete absence reports; maintain time and attendance records to ensure they are up to date.
  • Point of contact for routine pay inquiries such as paycheck discrepancies, vacation, etc.
  • Process employee data changes, new hire and termination paperwork in HRIS system and ensure accurate data is maintained.
  • Schedule and conduct orientation for newly hired employees.
  • Partner with security to create, activate, and de-activate employee and visitor badges.
  • Liaise with Talent Acquisition department to schedule and coordinate all internal and external interviews.
  • Maintain organizational charts, new hire paperwork, HR intranet and employee files.
  • Verify, audit, and forward vendor invoices to appropriate departments for payment.
  • Order and purchase departmental supplies, equipment, and tools as required via purchase requisition forms, electronic forms, and/or company card.
  • Assist in coordinating employee events.
  • Ensure compliance with HR standards, policies and procedures.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the HR office and provide project support when required.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative assistant experience in supporting a multi-faceted department required
  • Previous experience in HR, strongly preferred
  • Computer skills with high-level capabilities in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) are essential

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working with several types of databases and reporting systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong administrative skills and written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with SAP
