What you will be doing: 

  • Develop deep understanding of financial processes and strategy based in sound business fundamentals, economic thinking, benchmarking, and understanding of technological trends.   
  • Enable outsized organizational outcomes by identifying technology programs and strategies that allow the organization to execute more quickly and agilely and to drive greater resultsAnalyze complex problems and recommend meaningful solutions, defining the implementation pathIdentify, manage, and mitigate risk effectivelyInvests time in planning, discovery, and reflection to drive better decisions and outcomesHighlight improvement opportunities, challenging status quo, and driving appropriate change. 
  • Build strong relationships with functional leaders and teams, creating a culture of collaboration, building consensus through impact and influenceDefine outcome-based business process transformation; explore and implement opportunities for process automation.   
  • Elicit stakeholder needs and document clear, well-structured requirements including functional specifications, practitioner stories, and process flowsPartner across IT and third parties when required to articulate solution requirements, ensuring stakeholder alignment. 
  • Drive data driven decision-making to enhance ‘fit for purpose’ business processes.  Assist financial managers and team members in making decisions based on data insights, enabling the organization to improve digital acumen. Utilize data and develop business insights to support decision making.   
  • Champion change managementIdentify need for and understand process change required to adopt innovative technologyEffectively communicate benefits and enables adoption of new process / system driveMotivates and supports affected individuals to embrace change.   
  • Be a champion for standardization and simplification: Drive standardization by leveraging out of the box system and explore ways to simplify, automate, or eliminate existing processes. 

 

What you will bring to the table: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 5+years relevant experience (or 8+ years relevant experience in IT business analysis without bachelor’s degree); Experience must include work as a business analyst with finance and preferably includes experience in a financial role. 
  • Strong knowledge of business applications including SAP, preferably S/4HANA, financial forecasting tools, and automation technology. 
  • Has led the adoption of new processes or systems 5+ times.
