What you’ll be doing: 

  • Leading and Coaching: Manage and develop a team of IT service professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and encouraging a collaborative work environment. Optimize work processes, refine performance metrics, and ensure goal execution. 
  • Digital Employee Experience Strategy: Advance strategy for service delivery, to achieve zero touch deployment and optimize work processes and employee enablement. Stay ahead of industry trends to recommend improvements, improving employee experience and productivity. 
  • Employee Engagement and Digital Literacy: Design and implement initiatives to boost employee digital acumen through digital channels (ie. O365 platform).  Leverage feedback mechanisms and analytics to assess and improve the impact of solutions on employee satisfaction and experiences. 
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve: Complex hardware and software issues promptly.  Collaborate with other departments to identify recurring problems and recommend solutions.  Directly address IT issues for executive leadership team.   
  • Service Delivery Management: Lead the end-to-end delivery of timely and efficient resolution of technology-related issues leveraging the ServiceNow platform 
  • Supplier Management: Collaborate with vendors to ensure the effective delivery of outsourced services. Negotiate contracts, maintain relationships, and ensure vendors meet agreed-upon service levels. 
  • Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to ensure end-user services adhere to security policies and compliance requirements, including backup solutions. Implement and enforce standard methodologies for data protection and user authentication. 


What you’ll bring to the table: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with minimum of 7 years relevant experience (or 10+ years relevant experience in IT systems management without bachelor’s degree) with minimum 5 years people-focused leadership experience managing a technical team. 
  • Enterprise-level desktop support experience is essential with hands-on knowledge in service delivery, desk-side support, knowledge management, SCCM and IT hardware/software deployment including general understanding and experience troubleshooting PC, mobile device, and other employee solutions.

  • Knowledge of trends and developments in workplace solutions area such as Microsoft 365 
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills including active listening. 
  • Attentive to detail but able to see the big picture. 
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience. 
  • Ability to plan and execute small projects such as windows upgrade. 
  • Some travel is required (10%).
