Position Summary:

  •  The Sr. Financial Planning & Analysis Manager manages activities within the financial analysis function, including the oversight of reporting and analytics meant to provide management the information needed to make financial decisions.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify financial trends and reports on the organization’s financial position and performance relative to expectation
  • Assist cross-functional units on matters involving product pricing, overhead distribution, inventory rollover, cost determination, and other financial metrics and KPIs
  • Analyze and interpret financial plans, budget, profit and loss statements, or other financial documents
  • Research broader economic conditions and incorporate findings into financial models
  • Manage and coordinate monthly forecast process and Annual Operating Plan
  • Work with leaders to identify opportunities for cost savings and yield improvements, holding owners accountable
  • Assist in corporate finance activities for the long term plan of record, maintaining a strong link to business needs and capital planning to properly project financial performance
  • Manage and develop Sr Financial Analyst and Financial Analyst
  • Provide support and manage presentations to Board of Directors and Leadership Team updates and communications
  • Support capital prioritization process, ensuring capital dollars are optimized
  • Manage FCF forecasting


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related
  • CMA, CPA, and/or MBA a plus
  • 7-10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in managing a team and enterprise wide processes a must
  • Experience in chemical operations a plus

  • Advanced PC skills with emphasis on Excel and SAP
  • Advanced financial modeling skills a must
  • Strong process improvement skills
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong bias for action, positive attitude, self-starter
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement standardized processes
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, as well as identify process improvement opportunities and implement change
