Job Responsibilities:

Drive efficiency across the supply chain through planning and forecasting material replenishment and a production schedule that anticipates and adapts to variable demand requirements in support of the operating plan (S&OP).

Ensure production and shipping schedule can support weekly and monthly demand to meet internal and external demand on time at the plant, warehouses and tollers.
- Recommend and execute an inventory supply plan to meet customer needs and maintain appropriate inventory targets and/or Days of Supply

Responsible for raw material and finished goods inventories at the Plant, warehouses and tollers. Ensure adequate supply of raw materials to meet planned production. Perform weekly/monthly book v. physical reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Support and expand on all opportunities to level load the plan to drive improvements in inventory, on-time-delivery, fulfillment, cycle time, capacity management, and growth.

Organize and facilitate monthly meetings with key supply chain internal and external stakeholders including Toller management and Raw Material Suppliers, as well as leading/attending Raw Materials call with Procurement, Frankford, and Chesterfield Planners.

Develop and deliver multi-mode communications channels to effectively manage internal demand of chemicals to locations and external demand of customer sales including orders out of the plant and/or at toller locations.

Facilitate tag-up meetings/calls with Product Managers, Sales, Customer Service, and/or other Planners to provide insight and direction for specific inventories.

Own and maintain the forecasting tools and spreadsheets. Seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies.

Resolve SAP issues/errors and drive real-time inventory through corrective action plans.

Maintain and review SAP data and clear old STOs (Stock Transfer orders) that were canceled and/or charged.

Work across organizational boundaries to drive outcomes from Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Sales/Commercial, and Plant Operations.

Perform operating system activities and support, identifying areas for continuous improvement on delivery times, cost, and quality of materials from vendors. Recognize forward risks in the supply chain and accurately communicate implications with proposed solutions.

Perform process order close activities
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field, or relevant working experience.

3+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or Production scheduling.

Experience in SAP.
-
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
Additional Qualifications:

Knowledge of Chemical and/or Refining Industry.

Proficiency of MS Office.

Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Understanding of 24-Hour Bulk Production Facilities.

Experience developing process and procedures.

Knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning Process, Inventory Record Accuracy, Material Usage Variance.

Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
