It all starts with...
proven protection.
Non-stop power for a non-stop world.
Wires and cables help power the world, and they do so exceedingly well with Aegis® nylon jacket compounds from AdvanSix. Used in a range of demanding applications from residential and commercial construction to appliances, plenum cables and automotive, they protect the wires and cables that help keep our lights on, homes and businesses running, cars charging and technology buzzing forward.
Aegis® nylon jacket compounds, available in virgin grades containing mass-balance allocated and third-party certified 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) grade or 100% post-industrial recycled (PIR) grade nylon 6, protect wires and cables from physical and chemical damage during installation and throughout their service life. When a nylon jacket is used to protect and insulate, the total insulation thickness can be reduced, resulting in a smaller outside diameter thus enabling more wires to be installed in each conduit. All Aegis® nylon jacket compounds meet stringent UL standards.
