Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded individual to join our company as Business Finance Director supporting our Plant Nutrients business. This role is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of this business, providing leadership and guidance in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth and maximize profitability.
Responsibilities

Financial Strategy:

Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.

Provide strategic recommendations to the leadership team based on financial analysis and projections.

Monitor industry trends and economic conditions to assess potential impact on the business financial performance.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic plans.

Perform financial forecasting, including revenue, expense, and cash flow projections.

Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to the leadership team.

Identify and evaluate financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Monitor and analyze financial metrics to assess overall business performance.

Recommend and implement risk management strategies.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Minimum 7 years’ varied accounting/finance experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a team

Prior manufacturing experience is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Chemical manufacturing experience a plus.

CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation is highly desirable.

The base salary for this role is $168,500 to $252,700 annually.
