Message from Plant Leadership
It all starts with Hopewell. AdvanSix Hopewell has grown from making gun cotton for allies in WWI to being one of the world’s largest single manufacturing sites for ammonium sulfate, which makes the fertilizer that helps grow crops around the world possible. It is also one of the world’s largest single manufacturing sites for caprolactam, which is used to make Nylon 6 resin – a key ingredient in the carpet under your feet. Hopewell is the largest manufacturing site in the AdvanSix enterprise and through our commitment to safe, stable and sustainable operations as well as our amazing team and what they bring, we have made a lasting impact on Virginia manufacturing. AdvanSix is proud to be active in the Hopewell community and serve as good environmental stewards. The team regularly volunteers with Rebuilding Together Richmond and supports the local food pantries, and the Community Transformers Foundation as well as the Hopewell Manufacturers Association, the Virginia Manufacturers Association, the Commission for Hopewell Water Renewal and the Hopewell Rotary. I am proud to work side-by-side with the talented team at Hopewell to deliver for our customers, our community and each other.
