Donald Newman

Don joined the AdvanSix board of directors in August 2024, bringing financial expertise and a track record of delivering significant returns and creating shareholder value across multiple industries.  He serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee and as a member of the Health, Safety and Environmental Committee.  He brings more than 30-years of corporate finance and accounting leadership experience at high-growth businesses in a variety of industries, including metals and materials, energy, software, and drilling services. Mr. Newman retired in December 2025 from his role as Executive Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of ATI Inc., a global producer of high-performance materials and solutions for the global aerospace and defense markets and critical applications in electronics, medical and specialty energy. Previously, Don was Chief Financial Officer at North American steel producer Stelco Holdings Inc., where he helped lead the company’s successful 2017 initial public offering, separation from its prior owner, and transformation into a low-cost, performance-driven organization. Don has also held financial executive and leadership positions with NRG Energy, Inc., Headwaters Incorporated, as well as other successful public companies. Don is also a director of Amrize Ltd. (NYSE: AMRZ), a building solutions company.
