Sharon Spurlin

Sharon has served as a director of AdvanSix since 2016. She is Chair of the Compensation and Leadership Development Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. She brings corporate governance and financial expertise, as well as senior leadership experience in the chemicals industry; operations; health, safety and environment; environmental, social and governance; sustainability; regulated industries; risk management; and public companies. Sharon has been senior vice president and treasurer of Plains All American Pipeline, L.P., an energy infrastructure and logistics company, since 2014. Prior to joining Plains, she served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of both PetroLogistics L.P. and PL Midstream. Earlier in her career, Sharon held director of internal audit and assistant treasurer roles at Plains, and various positions at American Ref-Fuel Company and Arthur Andersen. She is also a director of Smart Sand Inc. (Nasdaq: SND), a supplier of industrial sand to the energy industry and DMC Global (Nasdaq: BOOM), an owner and operator of asset-light manufacturing businesses that provide unique, highly engineered products and differentiated solutions.
