Darrell Hughes

Darrell joined the AdvanSix board of directors in 2016.  He serves on the Compensation and Leadership Development Committee and the Health, Safety, and Environmental Committee. Darrell brings operational and financial expertise gained through nearly 30 years of senior management and leadership positions at several public companies, as well as experience in the chemicals industry. Darrell has been president and chief executive officer of Aurora Plastics, an innovative company specializing in high-quality rigid and cellular foam PVC compounds, since 2016. He previously served as vice president and general manager of Avery Dennison’s Materials Group. Darrell joined Avery Dennison from SABIC Innovative Plastics, where he was president and general manager of the specialty film and sheet division. Previously, he held various positions at General Electric, Engelhard Corporation, Deloitte and Air Products.
