Rooted in Hopewell
As a native of the Richmond area, Rachel understands the value of being more than just present in a community, she believes in being part of its fabric. “I’m from the area, so it’s fun to get to work in a company that also has roots here and is also really serious about investing in the communities that we’re in.” she shares.
That shared history is part of what makes AdvanSix special to her. “As a company we’re really interesting because in many ways we’re an old company, with roots going back to the 1800s. This history gives us a lot of expertise, but that doesn’t have to be what defines our future. We’re also a new company, with new people, ideas and innovation. I think bringing together the new and old is a strength and exciting to me.”

Rachel shares AdvanSix’s passion for protecting and helping our local communities. “It’s fun to work in a company that also has roots here and is serious about investing in the communities that we’re in. Not just being in a community, but truly being neighbors, being a part of the fabric of a place.”
