My soybeans are six to eight inches tall. Would it be okay to topdress them with 100 pounds per acre of ammonium sulfate?

Early planted soybean trials have shown yield responses to ammonium sulfate applied anywhere between a couple of weeks before planting and the V4-V5 growth stages.  Past that time, high-yield potential soybeans may benefit from a second application between R1-R3 stages.
