A light green color and low pepper fructification may be due to a variety of reasons, including:
Vegetables are often grown in sandy soils, which are typically low in nitrogen and sulfur. For this reason, ammonium sulfate is often included in the base fertilization. Applying nitrogen as urea without paying attention to sulfur may exacerbate deficiency symptoms.
